Can you turn the engine over by hand? If not, could be a frozen jet pump. OR, it may have gotten water in the crankcase and rusted the crankshaft & rod bearings. How long has it been since it got...

Thanks Navion, Pump is pulled and It Does turn over by hand ,easier since Pulled heads, before I pulled heads had to use a scredwriver in coupler to turn over, still won't turn over by starter, that's...

Yes, it should turn over by hand. The starter drive has an overrun clutch, it will turn easy one way, hard the other way. The cylinders won't rust (assuming they're original). They're nickasil coated....

Navion, I did not add oil to front balancer after replaced starter, because, I couldn't even get starter to turn over engine, I didn't want to put oil in then have to take back out. it just makes one...

There will normally be a small amount of oil & fuel in the crankcase. It's possible that oil ran through the carbs and into the crankcase, more likely if it was parked with the reservoir above the...
